  • Introduction

    This Special Issue is designated to cover feature and scholarly papers that address some of the diverse array of topics related to Smart Grid, Cyber Security, control systems, wind energy. These topics include, but are not limited to, secure and resilient communication and control architectures, secure smart metering, cryptography, key management, machine and deep learning algorithms, security threat and vulnerability assessment and measurement, cyber-physical security information and communication, security design and verification tools, and simulation and performance analysis of security operations and services. Technological advances in all these areas, have profoundly affected the realization of the resilient and secure communications and information management that are essential to all aspects of the Smart Grid. We invite scientists and researchers from all fields to submit papers for this important Special Issue of “Secured and Reliable Smart Grid”. Case studies, reviews, and research papers on all topics related to cyber security issues of smart grids are invited.

    2. Secure smart metering and control
    3. Cyber-physical security information and control
    4. Secure renewable energy penetrations
    5. Simulation and performance of machine learning algorithms
    6. Machine and deep learning solutions in smart grids
    7. Artificial intelligence (AI) in smart metering
    8. Artificial intelligence applications in renewable and sustainable energies

  • Guidelines for Submission

    Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

    Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.ij3e.org/submission). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.
